Hollies Croft just off Sir Harry's Road has a cluster of convenience shops, like a McColls supermarket, a chip shop, hair salon, Chinese takeaway, pub and off license: Sir Harry's Food Shop.
It's a small shop but offers quite a lot given its compact size. So you can get your essentials like milk, bread and eggs, as well as sauces and tinned food. They have a wide selection of confectionary and soft drinks too.
It's a family-run business so you'll either by served by the owner or his sons. They tend to have a relaxed approach so there will often be a group of people standing around conversing with whoever is behind the till, which is common for small businesses but not very professional.
There's ample parking on the Hollies Croft, which very rarely reaches capacity.
